What is the General Secretary? (see below for Local Secretary)

-expertise and experience in following Robert's Rules of Order

-the General Secretary will attend both National Council and National Executive meetings and keep minutes

*the General Secretary will act as mentor to the Local Secretaries and Chairs of Committees and PMA Councils within the Association.

-organizational skills required

-the General Secretary will regularly perform the tasks required of the General Secretary.

-this role is very detail focused and requires interactions primarily via email with our officers.

-the ideal candidate will be confident, a good listener, reliable, courteous, confident, organized, and will approach each day with a positive and professional attitude.

What is a Local Secretary?

-familiarity and desire to gain experience in following Robert's Rules of Order

*Local Secretaries will act as the liaison between the General Secretary and local officers

-the ideal candidate will be confident, a good listener, reliable, courteous, confident, organized, and will approach each day with a positive and professional team-player attitude.

-organizational skills required
