The creator of this survey is a former SMOE teacher and is now doing an MA in publishing at Oxford Brookes. For her thesis, she is looking into the viability of producing a flexible, situation-based fun curriculum for summer and winter camps. From her preliminary questionnaire, completed by teachers, it seems they felt frustrated at having to prepare so many of their own materials for the camps but also didn't want to be restricted to teaching solely from a text book.

The proposal is to create a topic based curriculum where each topic would provide around 3 teaching hours worth of material (fitting with the variable camp lengths). She is not qualified to design a curriculum, but she is keen to promote a constructivist, task-based learning experience. Her role is to come up with the data to suggest if the idea of a curriculum for English camps in Korea is feasible or not.

What are some of the primary issues for Adult Educators in corporate English learning environments?
