What is a Private Lessons Representative?

*you must be employed as a Private Lessons teacher in order to serve in this role. During the application process, if your Private Tutor's License is not on file to support this, you will be asked to provide a copy.

*this position is largely research based

*this position does NOT provide legal advice, interpretations of the law, or mediate / represent teacher issues directly with employers (all members with individual legal issues should be encouraged to file our Legal Complaint Form so that critical data can be collected and analyzed or to seek resources through our Employment and Legal Issues Committee Forum and officers atek.or.kr/labor)

-you will help to encourage and moderate discussions related to the Private Instructor Industry on our forums, on Facebook, or in comments posted after articles online

-you will focus on creating, collecting, and providing resources for our members on a massive scale erring against providing this to individuals if permanent content has not yet been created

-you will strive to create content to be posted later on our website and in our guidebook or which may be used to create reports, articles, or even plans to affect long-term change in the respective sub-industries of the Private Lessons Education Industry in Korea

-you will strive to develop strong and long-term relationships with all stakeholders in the Private Lessons Industry with a focus on the ones in your province and for the purpose of collecting data (or of creating studies to collect data) to monitor and report on issues related to both teachers and employers
